Tommy Emmanuel was destined, perhaps, to become a world-class musician. Given his first guitar at age four, he started working professionally just two years later in a family band, the Emmanuel Quartet. He never learned to read and write music, but he and his brother Phil were dedicated students of the instrument, creating games that helped them identify chords and patterns. They became adept at picking out the nuances of complex chords, a talent that takes most musicians years to develop.
This will be our first – and Tommy’s first – show at the legendary Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace. A life-long Buck fan, he was so moved when he toured the Palace last year, we knew it was a natural venue his amazing show.
And the evening will be even more amazing, because we’ve invited a few of his friends to join in the fun. All spectacular players in their own right – and favorites of Guitar Masters fans – Richard Smith, Pat Bergeson, and Brooks Robertson will appear with their pal, Tommy. How cool will THAT be?
Tickets for this show are available through the Crystal Palace and all Vallitix outlets. Get yours before they’re all gone!
