John Jorgenson, Herb Pedersen, Mark Fain, and Patrick Sauber each bring serious chops, world-class credits, and a whole lot of chemistry to the stage.
This crew delivers bluegrass like you’ve never heard it before — a mix of jaw-dropping pickin’, soaring harmonies, and that smooth West Coast edge that nods to their country-rock roots. Think high-lonesome soul meets California cool.
Jorgenson and Pedersen helped shape the sound of country-rock with The Desert Rose Band. Fain held down the low end for Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder for more than a decade. Sauber’s been tearing it up with Peter Rowan and Laurie Lewis and even appeared in A Mighty Wind. Together, they make acoustic magic — tight, fearless, and full of heart.
Their debut record, From The Crow’s Nest, was cut in Sheryl Crow’s Nashville barn and earned rave reviews for its blend of master-level playing and effortless groove. The live show? Even better. Every tune crackles with energy, humor, and that easy confidence only decades of stage time can bring.
