Mac McAnally

Mac McAnally is a regarded singer-songwriter, session musician, and record producer. Renowned for his singing voice and exceptional guitar abilities, Mac has released ten studio albums and enjoyed multiple chart-topping hits on the Billboard charts, including collaborations with Kenny Chesney.

In addition to his solo work, Mac has written number-one songs for Alabama and Shenandoah, composed tracks for Sawyer Brown and T.G. Sheppard, and produced albums for Sawyer Brown, Restless Heart, and Jimmy Buffett. He was also a member of Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band.

Hailing from Red Bay, Alabama. Growing up in Belmont, Mississippi, Mac’s journey commenced in church settings before transitioning to studio sessions in Muscle Shoals. His debut album, released in 1977, featured the track “It’s a Crazy World,” marking the beginning of a career that has made a lasting impact on the realms of country and folk music.
